After 10 albums and 3 EPs, including a recent remix album featuring 13 beatmakers from various scenes and generations, followed by an orchestral project captured on record, the beatmaker reconnects with his roots and first love—hip-hop—with the upcoming release of a new project, Everything’s Fine, on March 14, 2025.
An album created in collaboration with rapper Miscellaneous (half of the duo Chill Bump, voice of Fumuj, frontman for the previous Chinese Man tour...) in which the duo explores different facets of rap they both love: drumless, East Coast, boom bap, breakbeat... A collision between two craftsmen drawing inspiration from legendary beatmaker/MC duo albums (Madlib/MF Doom, Danger Mouse/Black Thought, The Alchemist/Freddie Gibbs...). With Everything’s Fine, the two companions will unveil their unique universe: a raw, expansive, and warm sound that blends the booming beats of sampling craftsman Degiheugi with the vocal dexterity, musicality, and diverse flow of Miscellaneous.
